Country Acts Join Macy’s 4th of July Concert

Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley are among the acts slated to perform at NBC’s annual “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” in New York City. The celebration will include the country’s largest firework display in over a decade, with more than 60,000 shells launched from five barges in midtown Manhattan. Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld will also perform at the event, with more acts set to be announced soon.

 

·         The fireworks will be accompanied by the West Point Band and Glee Club’s musical tribute, “ANTHEM,” featuring, Craig Campbell, Heather Headley, Jamie Barton & the USO Troupe of Metropolitan New York.

Spongebob Squarepants Musical Features Lady Antebellum Song

An original song from Lady Antebellum will be featured in the new SpongeBob SquarePants Musical coming to Broadway later this year. Lady’s A’s original tune is titled “Chop to the Top” and it comes at a point in the musical when the characters SpongeBob and Sandy Cheeks are climbing a mountain. The musical will also include original songs by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, John Legend and Cyndi Lauper, as well as a song by the late David Bowie.

 

  • The musical will open at New York City’s Palace Theatre on December 4, with tickets going on sale to the general public on June 26.

Lineup Grows for CMT Crossroads: Earth, Wind & Fire and Friends

The lineup has grown for the taping of CMT Crossroads: Earth, Wind & Fire and Friends in downtown Nashville tomorrow (6/6). Taking the outdoor stage with Earth, Wind & Fire will be newly added performers Dan + Shay, Darius Rucker, Drake White, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts and Sara Evans. These artists will join the previously announced act Lady Antebellum, who will also perform with the legendary R&B group on Wednesday (6/7) during the 2017 CMT Music Awards.

 

  • Fans are invited to attend Tuesday’s taping, which is being held on the corner of 5th and Demonbreun at 8:30 PM local time.
  • CMT Crossroads: Earth, Wind & Fire and Friendswill premiere June 23 at 10 PM ET on CMT.

More Performers Added to CMT Music Awards

The list of performers at the upcoming 2017 CMT Music Awards has grown with the addition of Kelsea Ballerini and Little Big Town to the lineup. The show will include previously announced performances Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett, with all-star collaborations by The Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum with Earth, Wind & Fire.

 

  • 2017 CMT Music Awardswill air live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 7 at 8:00 PM ET on CMT.

Collaborations Announced for CMT Music Awards

Several all-star collaborations have been announced for the upcoming 2017 CMT Music Awards, including cross-genre pairings from Florida Georgia Line with The Chainsmokers as well as Lady Antebellum with the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire. The night will also include superstars Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood performing live together for the first time on any CMT stage.

 

·         These acts will join previously announced performers Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett from Nashville’s Music City Center on June 7 at 8 PM ET. Additional performers will be announced soon.

Nashville Predators Anthem – Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson is the latest music superstar to sing the National Anthem at the Nashville Predators playoff game last night (5/18) in downtown Nashville. Kelly follows an impressive list of country superstars that preceded her in singing the anthem for the Predators that includes Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Vince Gill. BREAKING: CMT Music Awards Nominees Announced

Brett Eldredge appeared on NBC’s Today show on Tuesday (5/9) to help announce the nominees for the 2017 CMT Music Awards. Keslea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban lead this year’s pack with four nominations apiece, while Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Lauren Alaina and Luke Bryan follow closely behind with three nods each. Hosted this year by Nashville star Charles Esten, the CMT Music Awards will take place live from Nashville on June 7 at 8 PM ET.

 

  • Due to the Nashville Predators advancing in the NHL Playoffs, this year’s CMT Music Awards has been moved from the Bridgestone Arena to the Music City Center across the street.
  • Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett were recently revealed as performers at the show, with additional acts set to be announced soon.
  • Fan voting is currently underway at CMT.com and continues until June 5.

Lady A Appears on ABC’s Dirty Dancing Soundtrack

Lady Antebellum will appear on the soundtrack for ABC’s new television remake of Dirty Dancing. The trio will put their spin on the song “Hey! Baby,” which was originally recorded by Bruce Channel in the 1960’s and appeared on the soundtrack for the 1987 film Dirty Dancing. The new soundtrack will be released on May 19, while the three-hour Dirty Dancing reboot, starring Abigail Breslin and Colt Prattes, will air on May 24 at 8 PM ET.

 

BREAKING: CMA Fest Stadium Lineup Revealed

The Nightly Concert lineup at Nissan Stadium during CMA Music Festival was revealed this morning (3/17) on ABC’s Good Morning America. Taking the big stage this year will be Trace Adkins, John Anderson, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tracy Lawrence, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, and Chris Young.

 

·         The 2017 CMA Music Festival will take place June 8-11 in downtown Nashville.

First Round of ACM Performers Announced

The first round of performers at the upcoming 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards has been announced and includes current ACM nominees Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, and Maren Morris. Additionally, the Backstreet Boys will make their debut appearance on the ACM stage, teaming up with FGL for a one-of-a-kind performance. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

 

·         Hosted by Bryan and Bentley, the 2017 ACM Awards will be broadcast live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 2 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
