MEET THE STAFF

Rick Watts joined KBOE/KMZN as General Manager in August 2016. Rick relocated to Iowa with his wife Elisa from Paonia, Colorado where he served as General Manager of the local radio station there. In his spare time, Rick enjoys gardening, cooking, attending music events, and spending time with his family, including his two beautiful granddaughters. You can reach Rick at rwatts@kboeradio.com

Sam joined the KBOE/KMZN team in July 2022 as the Sports/News Director. He grew up in Pinehurst, North Carolina, but lived in Minnesota for four years before moving to Oskaloosa. A graduate of Boston College, Sam enjoys movies, music, video games, watching football, reading about football, and talking about football. You can reach Sam at sparsons@kboeradio.com.

Keri Songer began as an Office Assistant at KBOE/KMZN in October 2015 and has since added Traffic Manager to her duties. A recent graduate of William Penn University, Keri loves to read and spend time with her husband and two greyhounds. She also teaches dance and color guard.

Melissa joined the KBOE/KMZN team as a sales representative in November 2018. She grew up in Adrian, Michigan and currently resides in Oskaloosa with her son Driver. Gary Wilson is KBOE/KMZN's Chief Engineer and Technical Director. He maintains all of KBOE's equipment. Gary lives in Oskaloosa with his wife Joyce.

Before recently moving back to his roots in Keokuk County, Josh spent the last 20 years living in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa metro area. When not selling radio advertising solutions or doing play-by-play sports announcing, Josh enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 3 very active children, cheering on the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors.
