Jason Aldean May Be Opening A Bar In Nashville

It looks like Jason Aldean may be the next country star to open a bar on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.

According to the “Nashville Business Journal,” TC Restaurant Group filed paperwork for Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar and the company just purchased a property in the area for $32 million in a building that already houses the honky tonks Tequila Cowboy and WannaB’s Karaoke Bar.

Jason has yet to confirm the news of the possible Nashville spot, but if he is indeed opening a place he will join a long list of country stars who already have establishments in the area, including Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, John Rich and more.

Jason Aldean Receives ‘Coolest Gift Ever’

So, what do you get the man who has everything for Christmas–up to and including his first newborn son, who was delivered a few weeks before Santa was on the clock? Well, if you’re Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, you just might buy him … a bowling championship belt.

Aldean posted a picture of the flashy waist-gear on Christmas evening, with an approving note affirming it was perhaps “the coolest Christmas gift ever” from his wife and kids. He also references “Night Train Laynes,” which is, of course, a play on the title of his fifth studio album as well as his wife’s middle name.

Looks as if Brittany rolled herself a strike with this gift…and let us not forget, she was responsible for the best gift of all, baby son Memphis, already earlier in the month!

Aldean’s home has a private two-lane bowling alley (which Brittany has documented in Instagram stories), so it’s safe to say the singer is a fan of the sport. As we aren’t quite sure exactly where he’ll find the right occasion to wear such an, er, statement-making new belt, it’s a good thing to know that he can put it to use on his home turf.

Aldean is a sports fan in general, having gotten Memphis already in the act wearing Georgia Bulldogs gear before the little man even left the hospital after being born.

Proof Jason Aldean’s Baby is Cooler Than Us

Jason Aldean spent his first day with his new baby boy cheering his Georgia Bulldogs football team to a win, and you can pretty much guarantee little Memphis’ stud profile is only going to expand from there.

Over the past nine months Aldean has provided plenty of detail about what he’s looking forward to as a first-time boy dad. In June, he told Taste of Country he can’t wait to take Memphis hunting and fishing, acknowledging that it will be a few years. There’s no reason he can’t get him excited about University of Georgia football or his Atlanta Braves right now though, right?

A love of sports, a name derived from one of the coolest men who ever walked planet Earth, and two fearsome looking dogs will aid Aldean’s baby boy as he grows.

Memphis Aldean Williams was born on Friday (Dec. 1) at 1:29PM CT, weighing 9 lbs., 5 oz. The married couple of two-plus years let fans in on many of the details about the planning and preparation for their first child together, with his wife Brittany frequently sharing bump pics or scenes from the nursery with fans on Instagram.

In addition to Memphis, Aldean has daughters Keeley and Kendyll from a previous marriage. They seemed to be as excited about getting a brother as Aldean was that a son was on the way.

Advice for Thomas Rhett – Jason Aldean

With two daughters of his own, Jason Aldean might seem like the perfect person to give Thomas Rhett parenting pointers about raising two little girls. But in an interview with Taste of Country, Aldean said that while Rhett recently asked him a few questions about parenthood, he doesn’t feel like his advice could get him fully prepared for what’s coming. Jason said, “I think being a parent — it’s something you figure out along the way. There’s no book; there’s no right or wrong way to do it. You just figure it out as you go along.”

Jason Aldean Announces “Concert for the Kids”

Jason Aldean will return to his hometown of Macon, Georgia, on August 11 to perform his second “Concert For The Kids” benefit show. The concert will take place at the Macon Coliseum this year, with all proceeds once again benefitting the Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health. Last year, Jason raised more than $500,000 for the hospital, which serves as Bibb County’s only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia.

  • Tickets go on sale to the public beginning this Friday (6/23) at 10:00 AM ET on JasonAldean.com.

Country Stars React to Gregg Allman’s Death

Several country stars took to social media over the weekend to react to the death of Southern Rock icon Gregg Allman on Saturday (5/27) at the age of 69. A message on The Allman BrothersBand’swebsite says Gregg passed away peacefully at his home in Savannah, Georgia. While no specific cause of death was immediately given, the message said that Allman had “struggled with many health issues over the past several years.”

Here’s how some of the country stars reacted to Allman’s death:
