Brett Eldredge Plays the Fifth Wheel

Nobody wants to be the fifth wheel on a double date, but Brett Eldredge made an exception on Monday night (5/22) so he could hang out with Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and their wives at the Nashville Predators’ home playoff game. Rhett shared a picture of the all-star squad at the Bridgestone Arena after the big win, writing, “Solid crew tonight… headed to the cup.” Eldredge shared the same picture the next day, saying, “I’ll 5th wheel with this crew any day…”

 

  • Brett and Thomas were only a few of the country stars who made it out to the big game, including Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and more.
  • The Preds are moving on to the Stanley Cup Finals next week.

Country Stars React to Predators’ Win

After a thrilling game of hockey against the Anaheim Ducks, the Nashville Predators are heading to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history. The Preds finished the game 6-3 to win their Western Conference Finals series 4 games to 2.

Chris Young Releases New Single “Losing Sleep”

Chris Young has dropped his brand-new single, “Losing Sleep,” giving fans their first glimpse into his forthcoming seventh album due later this year. Young co-wrote the song with Josh Hoge and Chris DeStefano and it marks the third time he has co-produced with Corey Crowder. The song also follows the success of three back-to-back #1’s from Young’s I’m Comin’ Over album, which he says pushed him even harder in the studio this time around.

 

  • Chris says, “With every new album I think I want to try and write something easier and not so high in my register, but of course, on ‘Losing Sleep’ we push the boundaries even further and layer in some fun, new grooves too.”

BREAKING: CMA Fest Stadium Lineup Revealed

The Nightly Concert lineup at Nissan Stadium during CMA Music Festival was revealed this morning (3/17) on ABC’s Good Morning America. Taking the big stage this year will be Trace Adkins, John Anderson, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tracy Lawrence, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, and Chris Young.

 

·         The 2017 CMA Music Festival will take place June 8-11 in downtown Nashville.

On this day in 2011, Chris Young’s “Voices” was at #1 on the Country Charts. This was Young’s third consecutive #1, though the song had been released before his first two #1’s.

Young made history as only the second artist in the history of the Billboard Country chart to release the same single and have it go #1. Young had released “Voices” the first time in 2008.

 

Performers Added To Dolly Parton’s Telethon

The list of performers at Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountains Rise telethon has grown with the addition of and Montgomery Gentry to the lineup. These artists join previously announced performers Parton, Reba, Kenny Rogers and Alison Krauss, who’ll take the stage on December 13 to raise money for the Dollywood Foundation My People Fund , which was established assist those affected by the recent wildfires in East Tennessee.

 

·       The three-hour telethon will air nationwide on numerous broadcast partners, such as AXS TV, RFD and The Heartland Network, as well as select on-air platforms, including Cumulus Media’s NASH Nights LIVE.

Chris Young Teams Up With Toy For Tots

Chris Young won’t just be spreading holiday cheer with the release of his new album, It Must Be Christmas, on Friday (10/14); he’ll also be making the season brighter for disadvantaged children through his new partnership with Toys For Tots. As part of the partnership, Young will collect Toys For Tots donations at several of his “I’m Comin’ Over Tour” stops from November 17 through December 10. Fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or books to nine different tour dates, which are listed below.

 

·         Toys For Tots is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

·         Young says, “My sister and brother-in-law both served in the United States Marines Corps so I’m excited to join up with Toys For Tots and help share the Christmas spirit with kids in the cities along my tour.”
