More Performers Added To CMA Awards
More performers have been added to The 50th Annual CMA Awards, including Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves and Garth Brooks with Trisha Yearwood. These artists join previously announced performers Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, as well as co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The show’s Golden Anniversary will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 2 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.

Maren Morris Talks About Opening For Keith Urban
Maren Morris says of being out on the road on Keith Urban’s Ripcord World Tour, “It’s already been such a dream come true. The audiences have been so receptive, and it’s been packed, I mean every show has been to the wall, to the back of the lawn. So I feel like I can’t wait to really dig in and get into the rest of these shows, and see the rest of the country, it’s going to be a blast.”

On this day in 2005, Keith Urban got his first platinum single of his career with “You’ll Think of Me.” The song was released in 2004 and was a crossover hit, landing spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Adult Contemporary charts. Also in 2005, “Somebody Like You” was Certified Gold.
Both of those songs, along with “Raining on Sunday” and “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me” helped make Keith’s third studio album, Golden Road, become 3X Certified Platinum.

On this day in 2014, Capitol released Keith Urban’s “Somewhere in My Car” to radio. The song was the fifth overall from his eighth studio album Fuse. The song would later top the Country Charts.
Keith Urban’s Ripcord Debuts At #1
Keith Urban’s new album Ripcord has debuted at #1 on the Country Albums Chart, selling more than 92,000 copies in its first week out. Ripcord debuted at #1 in the United States, Canada, and Australia, marking the second consecutive time that Urban has attained that historic milestone.
