The audiences have been so receptive, and it’s been packed, I mean every show has been to the wall, to the back of the lawn. So I feel like I can’t wait to really dig in and get into the rest of these shows, and see the rest of the country, it’s going to be a blast.”

June 13th: On This Day

On this day in 2005, Keith Urban got his first platinum single of his career with “You’ll Think of Me.”  The song was released in 2004 and was a crossover hit, landing spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Adult Contemporary charts. Also in 2005, “Somebody Like You” was Certified Gold.

Both of those songs, along with “Raining on Sunday” and “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me” helped make Keith’s third studio album, Golden Road, become 3X Certified Platinum.
