When Keith Urban asked Carrie Underwood to be a part of his song “The Fighter,” she was already involved in her “Storyteller Tour” and had little free time. She told Urban that she had a day off in St. Louis that would be her last free day before he had to finish his Ripcord album. While Keith was filming his latest video that day, he flew the song’s co-writer Busbee to St. Louis, got a studio and was in there with Carrie.

Kelsea Ballerini Added To Academy Of Country Music Awards Performers List
The list of performers at the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards has grown with the addition of Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, and Sam Hunt to the already star-studded lineup. These artists join previously announced performers Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and Cam during the show, which will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3rd at 7:00 pm on CBS.
Keith Urban & Vince Gill Return For All For The Hall Benefit Concert
The sixth annual All For The Hall Benefit Concert will return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 12th. Keith Urban and Vince Gill will return for the annual event, which raises money each year for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The concert will feature performances from Urban and Gill along with Luke Bryan, Peter Frampton, Florida Georgia Line, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Jason Isbell, Maddie & Tae, and Maren Morris.

Keith Urban’s Father Passes Away
Keith Urban’s father, Robert Urban, was laid to rest on Thursday (12/17) in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia. Keith attended the funeral with his mother, Marienne, his older brother, Shane. Keith even drove to the funeral service in his dad’s vintage olive-green Lincoln Continental with his mom sitting next to him int e passenger seat.
Keith Urban Exhibit Opens Tomorrow At Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum
The exhibit showcasing Keith Urban’s life and path to Nashville is set to open at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum tomorrow. The “Keith Urban So Far…” exhibit will run through May of 2016 and will represent Urban’s life and career with historic and priceless memorabilia from his own collection.
