Blake Shelton Talks Touring With RaeLynn And Her New Single

Blake Shelton took to Twitter yesterday (8/16) to say some nice things about his good friend and label mate RaeLynn. Shelton began the video message by listing some of the reasons why he asked RaeLynn to join him out on tour this fall. Blake said, “First of all, because she’s amazing, and I think the more people that have a chance to see her and hear her perform the better off they’ll be for hearing her.”

  • Blake then talked about RaeLynn’s new single “Love Triangle,” a song which she wrote about her experience growing up with divorced parents. Shelton said, “I listen to it and relate to it from personal experience. And I think that everybody out there who’s from a family who’s gone through a divorce, you know, it’s not the end of the world, but there’s a pain there and there’s also a lot to think about from the standpoint of a child and this song is written from the standpoint of a child.”
  • RaeLynn will hit the road with Blake starting with a show in Oklahoma City on September 9.
