More performers have been added to The 50th Annual CMA Awards, including Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves and Garth Brooks with Trisha Yearwood. These artists join previously announced performers Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, as well as co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The show’s Golden Anniversary will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 2 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.

2016 American Music Awards Nominees Announced
The nominees for the 2016 American Music Awards (AMA) were announced on Monday morning (10/10), with some of country’s hottest stars earning nods at the annual show. Carrie Underwood leads the country pack with three nominations, including a nod in the all-genre Artist of the Year category. Underwood’s other nominations include Favorite Female Artist – Country and Favorite Album – Country for her Storyteller project. Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line were each double nominees at the show, with Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion, Zac Brown Band and Tim McGraw also earning nods. The 2016 American Music Awards will broadcast live on November 20 at 8 PM ET on ABC.

Tim McGraw And Faith Hill Join The Voice
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are joining the cast of NBC’s The Voice. Tim and Faith will serve as key advisers during the current season of The Voice, making them the first duo to ever take on that role on the show. As part of their advisor role, the couple will help get artists ready for the high-stakes knockout rounds airing in October.
· This news comes during a big week for Tim and Faith, as they just announced their 65-city “2017 Soul2Soul World Tour” earlier this week and they also celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary today (10/6).

On this day in 2004, Tim Mcgraw’s eight studio album, Live Like You Were Dying, sold 766,000 copies in its first week to place at the top of the Billboard 200 Albums chart and the Billboard Top Country Album chart. The album scored two #1’s with the title track and “Back When”.
The album has been Certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA.
Little Big Town And Tim McGraw Will Headline Carnival Cruises
Tim McGrawand Little Big Town will set sail with Carnival Cruise Line next year as part of the 2017 Carnival LIVE lineup. McGraw will perform aboard two Carnival ships next year: the Carnival Breeze on March 2 and the Carnival Valor on March 3. Tim will take the stage while the ships are docked in Nassau, The Bahamas. Little Big Town will also perform in Nassau while aboard the Carnival Dream on May 11 and the Carnival Valor on May 12.
· Comedians Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy will also be a part of 2017 Carnival LIVE lineup.
· Sam Hunt is already set to perform with Carnival LIVE in October of 2016.
July 19th: On This Day
On this day in 2004, Tim McGraw‘s “Live Like You Were Dying” made it three straight weeks on top of the charts. The song was the lead single from the album Live Like You Were Dying, and spent seven weeks atop of the charts.
“Live Like You Were Dying” would go on to win the Single of the Year and Song of the year at the 2004 CMA Awards and the 2004 ACMA Awards.
The song has been Certified Double Platinum.
June 22nd: On This Day
On this day in 2002, Tim McGraw’s fifth album A Place In The Sun was certified Triple Platinum. The album produced five singles; “Please Remember Me”, “Something Like That”, “My Best Friend”, “My Next Thirty Years” and “Some Things Never Change”.
A Place In The Sun reached number one on both the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart and the U.S. Billboard 200, making it a crossover hit.
“Please Remember Me” was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance at the 2000 Grammy Awards. “My Best Friend” was nominated in the same category the following year.
