Thomas Rhett’s single “T-Shirt” has hit the top of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Charts this week, giving Rhett his sixth consecutive #1 song. And to celebrate his latest chart-topper, Rhett has immediately released the Summer anthem “Vacation.”
CMT has announced the brand new #SOCIALSUPERSTAR Category at the upcoming 2016 CMT Music Awards. The nominees for the inaugural #SOCIALSUPERSTAR award are Brett Eldredge, Blake Shelton, Jake Owen, Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell and Thomas Rhett.
The finalists for the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards have been announced. Luke Bryan leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Sam Hunt who has a total of five. Thomas Rhett and Zac Brown Band follow close behind with four nods apiece, and Florida Georgia Line picked up three of their own. The show will air live from the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California, on May 1st at 7:00 pm on Fox.
Thomas Rhett is getting ready to release a new single titled “T-Shirt” which is currently heading to country radio. The new single is the third release off of his ACM Nominated second studio album, Tangled Up.
Thomas Rhett commands the radio charts once again this week, spending a fifth consecutive week at number one on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart with “Die A Happy Man.” Most recently accomplished in 2009, it was Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” that last maintained five weeks on top of the same chart.
In October, it was announced that Thomas Rhett would be teaming up with the Nationwide 24 hour gym and fitness center Snap Fitness as the brand’s 2016 spokesperson. As the Snap Fitness spokesperson, Thomas will host boot camps in select tour markets throughout the year to further promote his “I Feel Good” health initiative with the fitness franchise.
On this day in 2013, Thomas Rhett and The Cadillac Three raised $50,000 for the Christmas program Toys for Tots with a performance at Marathon Music Works in Nashville.
On this day in 2013, Valory Records released Thomas Rhett’s “Get Me Some Of That” to the radio. The song would later go all the way to number one on the charts.
Jason Aldean is coming to the Wells Fargo Arena on Thursday, January 21st! The concert will start at 7:30 pm. Aldean will be joined by Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses.
