Lady A Wants To Record A Taylor Swift Song

Given the success Little Big Town’s single, “Better Man,” has had so far, there’s little doubt that other artists are also interested in releasing a Taylor Swift-penned song to radio. One of those interested groups is Lady Antebellum, who recently talked to Billboard about the prospect of recording a song written by Swift. Hillary Scott said, “I mean honestly Taylor, call us. Like, we’re up for whatever. Let’s go.”

Charles Kelley¬†said they’d probably want Taylor to pen “a nostalgic song” for them, but there’s something else they want, too. Kelley jokes, “I hope it would be No.1. That’s all I want. It better go No. 1 though. If we cut a song and it goes like No. 2, I’m going to be so disappointed.”
