Today in 2010, the “All For The Hall” concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum took place. Hosted by Keith Urban, it featured performances by Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Country Music Hall-Of-Famer Dolly Parton.

Keith Urban Gets His 19th Number 1

Keith Urban notched his 19th number 1 song this week as “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” took the top spot on the Country Aircheck/ Mediabase Country Chart. Urban’s first song, and first#1 to come from his forthcoming 2016 album release, the song also set an historic country radio mark with the highest one-week spin count and point total in Country Aircheck/ Mediabase History.

Keith Urban Meets With Education Through Music Students

While Keith Urban was in New York City last Friday to perform on the NBC Today Show Summer Concert Series, He made a couple of other important stop around the city both before and after the show to meet Education Through Music students from the Bronx. The middle-school students are the recipients of a donation of guitars by Urban, made possible through the CMA Foundation’s Music Education Matters Initiative.

On this day in 2009, Keith Urban collected Gold singles for “Stupid Boy” and “Tonight I Wanna Cry”.  Both songs were singles off of Urban’s “Be Here” album. “Tonight I Wanna Cry,” was co-wrote by Keith and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country chart, while “Stupid Boy” reached number 3 on the charts, and  Urban covered the song at the suggestion of his wife, actress Nicole Kidman.

Brad Paisley Releases Video For “Crushin’ It”

Brad Paisley has released a new animated music video for his single “Crushin’ It.”

The Parody video features a superhero squad called The Agents of Crush, who are described as an “Elite team of weekend vigilantes undercover as country singers.”

Brad’s superhero codename is “Steel Moonshiner” and some of the other country superheroes include Kenny Chesney as “Agua Man,” Carrie Underwood as “Carrie Underwoman,” Keith Urban as “Captain Australia,” Luke Bryan as “Flash Smiley” and Jason Aldean as “Jason All-Green,” who’s made to resemble Marvel’s The Hulk.
