Brad Paisley made a surprise visit to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday Night (1/2) to honor one of his best friends, Opry star Little Jimmy Dickens. Paisley’s visit marked the one-year anniversary of Dickens’ death on January 2nd, 2015 at the age of 94. Paisley sang some of Dickens’ best known tunes.

The Grand Ole Opry is joining Women Rock For The Cure in the fight against breast cancer on Tuesday, October 27th with its seventh annual “Opry Goes Pink” show. Kacey Musgraves will flip the switch on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night as Musgraves and others including Opry Members Terri Clark and Montgomery Gentry perform in support of breast cancer awareness.
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood Make Surprise Appearance At The Opry
Grand Ole Opry members Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood made a surprise appearance at the Opry last Friday night (6/19). Yearwood told the sold-out crowd, “I didn’t have a chance to bring my band or call them or anything, but luckily I live with a Grand Ole Opry member, so if you all would make a welcome to my guitar player tonight, my husband, Mr. Garth Brooks!”
