Several country musicians released statements and took to social media to react to Merle Haggard’s death on Wednesday (4/6).

Carrie Underwood Surprises Unsuspecting Customers

Carrie Underwood recently surprised customers shopping for her Calia by Carrie Underwood Fitness and Lifestyle brand at a Dick’s Sporting Goods location in Nashville. Wearing a dark wig, glasses, and a hat, Carrie posted as a store employee and helped unsuspecting customers in the Calia section find what they needed. Hidden cameras were placed all around the store to capture Underwood interacting with the customers, and a few of them even recognized her.

Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt are rumored to be performers at the upcoming Grammy Awards. While the Grammys haven’t confirmed Underwood and Hunt as performers at the ceremony, the two singers names were reportedly included in a commercial for the awards show that aired during CBS’ broadcast of the AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos on Sunday.
