The night before Bake Shelton was celebrating his 39th birthday last week he came to a man’s rescue in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Wednesday night when he noticed the man’s car had become stranded in high flood waters. Blake came across Roho Hartman’s stranded car on Myall road and pulled Hartman out of his vehicle.
Blake Shelton will be heading to the big screen, or at least his voice is. Shelton’s heartfelt cover of Bob Dylan’s song “Forever Young,” which appeared on Dylan’s 1973 album Planet Waves, will appear in the upcoming movie Max. The film follows a military dog named Max who returns to the United States after helping Marines in Afghanistan.
Today in 2011, Reba Mcentire and Blake Shelton’s “Torando Relief Concert” sold out in less than tow hours. All proceeds went towards helping Oklahoma’s relief efforts, just weeks after tornado’s caused destruction in the area, which was not far from where Reba grew up.

The Tree Town Music Festival will be held May 21st through the 24th in Forest City, Iowa. This is a huge country music festival which includes the likes of: Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Chase Rice, and many others, Including Blake Shelton headlining that Saturday night.
Blake Shelton’s new single “Sangria” is the most added song at country radio this week. Shelton shares, “All of the singles from ‘Sunshine’ have been really diverse and different from each other. I wanted it to be about the things that drew me to country music, so I wanted to sing about going to a bar, or somebody breaking your heart, singin’ about girls and things, more classic country music topics, you know?”
