Morgan Evans Signs with Warner Music Nashville

Australian singer-songwriter Morgan Evans has signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville, meaning he’ll likely get to spend more time in Nashville with his famous fiancée, Kelsea Ballerini. To celebrate his new record deal, Evans recorded a mashup of his favorite songs by Warner Music Nashville artists, including Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay. Morgan, who has a duet with Ballerini on her forthcoming album, is currently in the studio working on new music with songwriter/producer Chris DeStefano.

  • Evans will celebrate his first U.S. record deal by playing a show at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday (5/19) followed by a performance on Saturday (5/20) at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café.
  • Kelsea tweeted after her fiancé’s deal was announced, “Couldn’t be more happy or proud of this human. So patient, so humble, SO talented. Excited to ride the roller coaster with you babe.”
  • Before his new U.S. deal, Morgan had been signed to Warner Music Australia since 2012.
