Meet the H & S Feed & Country Store Pet of the Week: “Copenhagen”
This week’s H & S Feed & Country Store Pet of the Week from Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa is “Copenhagen”. Copenhagen is a friendly 4 year old Australian Shepherd/American Blue Heeler mix, who gets along well with people, kids and other dogs, but not so much with cats. He’s a natural-born herding dog, so if he’s around farm animals he will do that… a lot! If you’d like to set up an appointment to meet Copenhagen or any of the pets at Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter, give them a call at 641-673-3991.
Check out our visit with Terry Gott about Copenhagen and expanded shelter hours here:

Keith Urban Performs Drive-In Concert For First Responders
Keith Urban loves to perform live, and he recently found a pretty great way to do so. The singer hosted his first live concert in months Thursday night, taking the stage at the Stardust Drive-In Movie Theater outside of Nashville.
And this wasn’t just a concert for any old fans. The audience was made up of for more than 200 doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians and staff from Vanderbilt Health, part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The special audience got to watch the show from their nearly 125 vehicles, which honked and flashed their lights throughout the show.
As for how long this concert was in the works, Keith tells Rolling Stone, “Probably about a month ago,” explaining, “The idea for the drive-in was a no-brainer because of the car situation. Playing to people in cars was really the baseline of it. And the fact that drive-ins still exist? Who knew, man? I knew there were a handful of them around, but not to the extent that I started discovering them everywhere.”

On this day in 2003: June Carter Cash is laid to rest
On this day in 2003: A bevy of country stars and everyday fans showed up at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where June Carter Cash was remembered in a touching public funeral. Johnny Cash, naturally, occupied a seat in the front row, positioned in a wheelchair not far from June’s light blue casket. Others on hand included daughter Carlene Carter, Tom T. Hall, Kris Kristofferson, Rodney Crowell, Ricky Skaggs, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Hank Williams Jr. and Trisha Yearwood. Larry Gatlin and the Oak Ridge Boys – two acts whose careers benefited from Johnny’s assistance – sang. And Emmylou Harris performed a couple of songs with the assistance of Sheryl Crow. Rosanne Cash, who was 12 years old when June married Johnny, told the assembly that June banned the word “stepmother” from the household. According to the Associated Press, Rosanne said, “My daddy has lost his dearest companion … and his soul mate. If being a wife were a corporation, June would have been a CEO. It was her most treasured role.”
