On Friday (9/16), Trisha Yearwood appeared on CBS’ The Talk to announce the release her new signature fragrance, available exclusively at Walmart. Yearwood teamed up with the renowned perfumers Ilias Ermenidis and Pierre Negrin for the fragrance, which includes notes of musk, jasmine and honeysuckle scents. Trisha Yearwood – The Fragrance is available in an eau de parfum for $19.82 and a body mist spray for $8.84 and is sold in-store or online at Walmart.

On this day in 1991, Garth Brooks had the top tune with “Shameless.” This was Garths’ seventh Billboard #1. The song is a cover of a song by Billy Joel just 2 years earlier and features harmony vocals by Trisha Yearwood.

The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) will honor Trish Yearwood with the ASCAP Voice of Music Award at this year’s 54rd Annual ASCAP Country Music Awards in Nashville. The invitation-only, black-tie gala will be held on November 2nd at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

The album would produce four top 10 singles, including Trisha’s debut number one smash hit “She’s In Love With The Boy.” The album itself reached the number 2 position on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and was certified Double Platinum for sales of two million copies.

Grand Ole Opry members Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood made a surprise appearance at the Opry last Friday night (6/19). Yearwood told the sold-out crowd, “I didn’t have a chance to bring my band or call them or anything, but luckily I live with a Grand Ole Opry member, so if you all would make a welcome to my guitar player tonight, my husband, Mr. Garth Brooks!”

Country Music Hall of Fame And Museum To Hold Trisha Yearwood Exhibit

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has announced a new exhibit that will focus on the creative and personal journey of Trisha Yearwood.The new exhibition, Trisha Yearwood: The Song Remembers When, opens July 3rd and will run through December of this year.

The exhibit will chronicle Yearwood’s life, career and musical achievements, and will display an array of artifacts and memorabilia to help tll her incredible story.
