Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert File For Divorce

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have filed for divorce, according to a statement the couple gave the Associated Press.

“This is not the future we envisioned,” their representatives said. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”

Today in 2010, it became official through a statement to People Magazine that Blake Shelton proposed to Miranda Lambert.

Miranda said, “He called my dad and got his blessing first. That was so southern and old-school and perfect.”

Miranda Lambert Going Back On Tour This Fall

Miranda Lambert is bringing back her “Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour”. The Tour will hit the road this fall, and she will be joined once again by Raelynn, who accompanied the singer on her “Certified Platinum Tour.”

The new tour will also feature Lambert’s Pistol Annies pal Ashley Monroe, as well as newcomers Clare Dunn and Courtney Cole.
