Luke Combs “Hurricane” Storms The Top of The Charts

Luke Combs’ single “Hurricane” has hit the top of country charts this week, giving Combs his first career #1 song. After reaching the chart’s summit in only 24 weeks on Mediabase and 30 weeks on Billboard, Combs also becomes the fastest debut artist to earn a #1 at Country radio since 2015. This news comes as Luke prepares for the release of his debut studio album, This One’s For You, on June 2.

  • Combs found out that “Hurricane” had gone #1 while he was performing at BMI’s Songwriters Festival in Key West, Florida, over the weekend. Luke says the annual festival made for the perfect setting to receive the momentous news. He says, “It’s surreal to celebrate my first #1 down here at the BMI Songwriter’s Festival surrounded by my very own songwriting heroes and friends. Songs carried me here and today is a wild dream come true.”
