OSKALOOSA'S FOOTBALL SEASON ENDED FRIDAY

Oskaloosa’s football season ended Friday

Oskaloosa’s football season ended Friday night (10/26).  Harlan defeated the Indians 36-14 in Oskaloosa in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs.  Harlan quarterback Preston Mulligan passed for one touchdown and ran 54 yards for another.  Oskaloosa senior running back Casey Hill ran for a touchdown and passed for a score to Iszac Schultz.  The Indians end their season with an 8-2 record.

Pella was also eliminated from the 3A playoffs Friday, as they lost to defending state 3A champions Cedar Rapids Xavier 14-6.  In Class 2A, PCM blanked Kuemper Catholic 49-0.  PCM hosts Williamsburg in the second round on Friday night (11/2).  In Class 1A, Pella Christian advanced with a 31-28 victory over Wilton.  The Eagles will travel to unbeaten Bellevue this coming Friday night.  In Class A, Hudson eliminated Lynnville-Sully 44-22 and Edgewood-Colesburg defeated BGM 58-21.
