On “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Jack Ingram, Jon Randall, and Miranda Lambert performed “In His Arms.” This song was released in March as a prelude to their new collaborative album, “The Marfa Tapes.”

This song, just like the rest of the album, is raw and stripped-back songs that were all recorded in Marfa, Texas. This is the same place that the trio wrote “Tequila Does” and “Tin Man.”

Lambert described The Marfa Tapes on her Instagram page by saying, “They’re raw. You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing… We wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music.”
