Man killed when deer hit by another car goes through his windshield

A man from North English is dead after a two car crash Wednesday night (2/19) west of Sigourney.  The Iowa State Patrol says a Toyota Camry was westbound on Highway 92 shortly after 7 last night and hit a deer.  The deer went airborne and hit a car driven by 45-year-old Donald Burdick of North English in the eastbound lane.  The deer went through Burdick’s windshield and hit him, causing his fatal injuries.  The name of the first driver is being withheld; there’s no word if that driver was injured.  The crash is still under investigation.
