The Mahaska County Board is moving Monday’s (11/4) regular meeting to 6:30pm in order to accommodate a public hearing.  That hearing is about a proposal to advance $500,000 from the County’s rural services fund to the TIF reserve fund in order to pay for certain urban renewal projects in the Prairie Wind Urban Renewal area.  Those tax revenues would be used to pay for improvements to roads, bridges and culverts.  Once again, the Mahaska County Board will meet Monday night at 6:30 at the Mahaska County Courthouse in Oskaloosa.
