Iowa Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg paid a visit to Tassel Ridge Winery in Leighton Thursday (10/10).  It was a part of the 99 County tour that he and Governor Kim Reynolds take each year.  Gregg talks about what he gains from visits like this.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn about the issues in different industries.  And it’s also an opportunity to highlight some really incredible assets that we’ve got sprinkled throughout rural Iowa.  This is one that I think can be an attraction for people travelling through the state or people looking for maybe a weekend getaway.”

Earlier on Thursday, Gregg spoke to business leaders in Lee County and he concluded his day by speaking to the Pella Christian High School football team.
