FREEZE WARNING FOR MUCH OF IOWA FRIDAY NIGHT

Freeze Warning for much of Iowa Friday night

Break out the sweaters and blankets, because it’s going to be cold tonight.  A Freeze Warning takes effect at 10pm Friday (10/11) for most of the state of Iowa.  Not only are we expecting temperatures to drop below freezing tonight, but wind gusts of 15 to 25 miles an hour will make it feel like it’s 15 to 25 degrees outside.  If you have tender plants outside, you should bring them indoors.  Also, to prevent outdoor water pipes from bursting, wrap them and drain them and allow them to drip slowly.  Again, there’s a Freeze Warning starting Friday at 10pm until 9am Saturday (10/12) for the No Coast Network listening area
