Indians football knocked out in opening round of playoffs

It’s one and done for the Oskaloosa High football team.  Third-seed Lewis Central defeated the Indians 44-0 Friday night (11/1) in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs in Council Bluffs.  Titans’ running back Bryson Bowman rushed for 229 yards and five touchdowns….as Lewis Central piled up 426 yards of total offense to Oskaloosa’s 47 yards.  The Indians only managed two first downs all night and had trouble getting through the Lewis Central defense.  The Indians finish the season with a 6-4 record, while Lewis Central improves to 9-1 and hosts Dallas Center-Grimes this coming Friday night (11/8).
