As we told you, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani announced their engagement last week after five years of dating. But before they walk down the aisle, the couple is reportedly making sure they are protected should anything go wrong in the future.

“They have been in pre-nup talks for a few months,” a source tells “Us Weekly.” “The process has been extremely effortless,” with the insider adding there have been “no hiccups, or outrageous demands” during the discussions.

Both, of course, have already dealt with failed marriages, and the insider notes that Gwen didn’t have a pre-nup with ex Gavin Rossdale and “she just can’t afford to not have it with Blake.”
