Smith received the honor in front of record crowds at his recent Riverfront Stage performance at CMA Fest in Nashville, which made the news even more special for him. Granger says, “It has been a childhood dream of mine to achieve a national No. 1 song. Now, with this Gold certification, that dream has been amplified.”
