Frankie Ballard is sharing more details about his surprise wedding to Christina Murphy in Bee Cave, Texas, on March 12. Frankie tells People that the two wanted to keep the ceremony close to Christina’s hometown of Austin to make sure that all of her grandparents could attend. Ballard also says that Murphy’s late father, Mike Murphy, was honored throughout their wedding day. He says, “It was very difficult for Chrissy to walk down that aisle without him. She held tight to a handkerchief sewn from his favorite shirt.”

·       As for his favorite wedding highlight, Frankie says, “The best moment was our 10 second smoocher right after ‘I do.'”

Ballard says of his bride, “She fills in all the gaps in my personality, and loves me in a way that makes my spirit dance. I now have the strength of 10 men, but at the same time, I’m humbled by such a pure gift from God.”
