For Morgan Wallen it’s the end of an era, and one that he probably doesn’t mind seeing draw to a close. According to reports, Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway bar in Nashville is removing Wallen’s infamous chair-throwing plaque, as they make room for Kygo’s Palm Tree Club. The arrival of the popular DJ’s new space, which will open its doors on September 4th, has led to Chief’s briefly closing its rooftop for renovations. This reportedly means that the plaque is being removed for updated decor. Morgan was arrested in April 2024 after being accused of tossing a chair off the rooftop bar. The Chief’s team leaned into the incident, quickly putting up a plaque at that reads, “Don’t even think about it. You are not Morgan Wallen.”
