On the day of the country star’s death, Dolly Parton’s nephew had reportedly been involved in an incident with police. According to body cam footage, Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, allegedly found himself in a physical altercation with police outside of the hospital in which Parton died in Nashville. Parton passed away on August 25th at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer center. Seaver denies these events as he claims there was no roughhousing but the officers had treated him like a “fugitive.” Parton’s estate has asked to obtain that bodycam footage for their reference. Seaver has been at the top of headlines recently as he was fired from his role as Parton’s head of security and has been issued a restraining order by Parton’s estate. This comes as Seaver had allegedly harassed workers at Parton’s Nashville hotel and museum. Seaver is due in court regarding the legal battle in early December.
