While Dolly Parton needed no such lift, she got one anyway after her passing Tuesday. Immediately after news broke of the legend’s passing, her streaming numbers skyrocketed. Her 1973 classic “Jolene” immediately shot to #1 on Apple Music’s U.S. songs chart.

In addition, her total streams increased over 1,260-percent globally and 2,320-percent in the United States compared to the prior seven-day daily average. “Jolene” increased 630-percent globally and 1,225-percent in the U.S., compared to the prior seven-day daily average, while “9 to 5” increased 620-percent globally and 1,030-percent in the U.S. and “Islands in the Stream” increased 525-percent globally and 1,235-percent in the United States.

Seven of her songs broke into Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart, with “Jolene” and “9 to 5” entering for the first time at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. On that same chart, “Islands in the Stream” reentered at #8, followed by “I Will Always Love You” at #15, “Here You Come Again” at #28, “Coat of Many Colors” at #34 and “Tyrant” at #189.
