The music legends Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick are collaborating on a gospel song called “Peace Like a River,” written by Parton and produced by Warwick’s son Damon Elliott. They also filmed a music video for the song in Nashville set to be released on February 24th on Kind Music Group!

The duo appeared on Good Morning America to speak to the new song. They share its special to them as its a “song of inspiration”, and Warwick found the song “timely” and a song America “needs” right now.

Both singers shared how excited they were to work together. Parton says Warwick is “one of my idols”, calling the new duet “one of the highlights of my career.” Warwick was just as excited to work with Parton, saying she is “thrilled to have this opportunity for us to work together” in a statement.
