Dan + Shay recently released two holiday tunes, “Take Me Home for Christmas” and “Christmas Isn’t Christmas,” which may have fans thinking that there’s a holiday album in the works. But backstage at the “American Music Awards” they say that’s not happening just yet.

“We’ve always wanted to do a Christmas album,” Dan Smyers tells “Billboard.” “Our fans ask for it every year and we continually let them down.” He adds, “No Christmas album recorded yet, but hopefully there will be one at some point.”

Meanwhile, the duo took home Collaboration Of The Year at the AMAs for their Justin Bieber collab “10,000 Hours,” but Justin isn’t the only artist they’d love to record with. When asked about their dream collaborators, Shay Mooney offered, “Adele — we’re huge fans of her. I think she has one of the greatest voices in history.” Dan would also love to record with The Weeknd. “That would be crazy,” he says, with Shay agreeing, “We love you, Mr. Weeknd!”
