BROTHERS OSBORNE SAY THEIR FOURTH ALBUM SEEMS LIKE A DEBUT

Brothers Osborne‘s fourth album was released last month, and the duo went on “CBS Mornings” to talk about how their lives changed in the last few years, making their fourth album feel like a debut album

“It feels like a fresh start in a lot of ways for us. I mean we’ve shared so much of ourselves publicly in the past few years,” TJ Osborne said. Over the last few years, TJ came out as gay, and John battled anxiety so severe he considered quitting music. The brothers also had gotten to a point where just being in the same room with each other was difficult.

They actually ended up going to couples therapy; “If we keep on with this, the band’s over,” John says. More importantly, the two sought to save their relationship as brothers. Fortunately, the therapy gave the siblings – and the duo – a reset and a new musical perspective that runs through their new album.
