Were you shocked to hear that Adam Levine didn’t get an invite to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s wedding? Well Shelton is clearing the air now and explaining why.

The reason? Because of Levine’s appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show!” During his appearance there, Levine had said he would cause a ruckus if he was invited to their wedding. Levine had said “‘She’s so cool and he’s not. I’ll go to the wedding and I’ll object. I probably won’t be invited now that I’m saying this on live television. But I’ll be there somehow.’

While Shelton appeared on the show, his confession came out, with him saying, “That’s the reason we didn’t invite him to the wedding is that interview he did on your show,’ “It’s like, ‘I’m not inviting him.”‘

He added, “Well, we’ll never know. I purposely did not invite Adam Levine to my wedding — and I think it’s funny.”
