BAND MEMBER'S FAKE FAINTING SPELL CAUSES MEDICS TO RUSH ZACH BRYAN STAGE

Band Member’s Fake Fainting Spell Causes Medics To Rush Zach Bryan Stage

If there’s a takeaway from this, it’s that the EMTs were on top of things. Zach Bryan‘s band was playing a gig in Tacoma, Washington when it was time for the show closer, “Revival.” Anyone who has ever attended a Zach Bryan show knows that at this point, steel guitar and banjo player Read Connolly “faints” onstage, just to pop right back up and launch into a solo. As scripted, Connolly collapsed onstage. The crew tries to revive him (again, part of the show), but before he had a chance to pop up and do his solo, paramedics working the Tacoma Dome sprang into action. They hustled up the center aisle to the stage before someone clued them in it was all for show. In a Tik Tok video of the incident, the EMTs head back the way they came, with one of them saying to the camera, “They should tell us that’s part of the act.”
