Taylor Swift Shares Home Movies In Vid For ‘The Best Day (Taylor’s Version)’

Taylor Swift dropped “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” on Friday, and along with it shared a very personal lyric video for the track “The Best Day (Taylor’s Version).”

The original 2009 music video features family home videos and the new clip does the same with footage of her life before she became a pop star, including rare clips of her mom Andrea, dad Scott and brother Austin.

Clay Walker Announces New Album

Clay Walker is set to release a new album this summer. The singer just announced his 12th studio album, “Texas To Tennessee,” will drop July 30th.

The album features 10 songs, all co-written by Clay, with the title a shout out to where he recorded the album, both in Nashville, Tennessee and Galveston, Texas.

“I’m really proud of these songs and can’t wait to share them with y’all,” he shared on Instagram. “So grateful for my incredible team and producers @musicknox and @jaronboyer for making this happen.”

Zac Brown Band Announce New Livestream

Zac Brown Band is ready to perform again. The band announced they’ll headline a special May 8th livestream from their Southern Ground Studio in Nashville.

“I’m so excited to invite our fans to our special livestream performance,” Zac shares on social media. “It’s been a long time since we took the stage, and we think it’s about time we bring family and friends together from our very own Southern Ground Studio in Nashville for the first time ever.”

He adds, “After the live performance, stick around for our special encore event, where we’ll be answering fan-submitted questions. We can’t wait for you to join us!” If that’s not exciting enough, the announcement notes, “The band will also share some exciting news with fans who tune in.”

The livestream will kick of at 9 pm ET, and tickets are on sale now via Sessions Live. There will also be VIP bundles that will include exclusive merch, and “extremely limited short 1:1 virtual hangs with Zac.”

Luke Bryan Stopping By “Jimmy Kimmel” & “GMA” This Week

Luke Bryan is set to release the deluxe edition of “Born Here Live Here Die Here” on Friday, and he’s making a couple of TV appearances this week to promote it.

Luke is set to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight, and then on release day he’ll stop by “Good Morning America” and “GMA3: What You Ned To Know.” He’s also planning some more appearances next month, possibly to coincide with the season finale of “American Idol.”

Luke’s deluxe edition of “Born Here Live Here Die Here” will include six new songs – “Country Does,” “Drink a Little Whiskey Down,” “Waves,” “Bill Dance,” “Up,” and “Floatin’ This Creek.”

  • Today in 1990, Farm Aid IV was held at the Indiana Hoosierdome. Performers included Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Kris Kristofferson, John Mellencamp, Guns N’ Roses and Jackson Browne. Elton John dedicated the song “Candle in the Wind” to AIDS patient Ryan White during the show. White died later that night.
  • Today in 1998, Brooks & Dunn’s “Greatest Hits” album was certified double platinum.
  • Today in 1998, Shania Twain’s single, “You’re Still The One,” was certified gold.

Performers Announced For The 56th Annual ACM Awards

The 56th Annual ACM Awards are less than two weeks away and we’re finally finding out who’ll be performing, and let’s just say it’s going to be a big night.

In total 25 artists are confirmed to perform more than 30 songs, including Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton, Ryan Hurd, Alan Jackson, Elle King, Miranda Lambert with Jack Ingram, and Jon Randall, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, The War and Treaty, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, CeCe Winans, and Chris Young.

The 56th Annual ACM Awards, hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton, airs live from Nashville April 18th on CBS (8 pm). The performances will take place in three iconic Music City venues – the Grand Ole Opry House, the historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Café.
