KEITH URBAN PLAYS A SURPRISE POP-UP SHOW AT THE NASHVILLE AIRPORT

Nashville is a unique city, and we’ve said it many times: you don’t know who you’ll run into or where you’ll see them. Saturday was a case in point.

Travelers passing through Nashville International Airport (specifically nera the live stage at the C Concourse Food Court) were treated to a pop-up concert by Keith Urban. First, how cool is that? And second, how many airports actually have a live music stage?

As Keith took the stage, the airport was quick to post on social media what was going on, and where. “You never know who will popup at BNA! Keith Urban is currently on the BNA Live Stage in the C Concourse Food Court!” So if people were actually monitoring the airport’s social media feeds at that time and happened to be in the terminal, they got a free show from a country superstar. For the rest of the world, you’ll just have to be satisfied with a video of Keith playing, which the airport also posted on their socials.

Dierks Bentley Shares What He Should Have Chosen For His Professional Name

Admittedly, “Dierks” is an odd name in anyone’s book, so as he embarked on his country music career, did Dierks Bentley ever consider going to something a little more..stage-worthy? “Taste Of Country Nights” asked him exactly if, when he was first starting out, his record label pressured him to change it to something more relatable to country fans, or if he had thought of changing it himself. “God, wish I had! I would have changed it to something cool, like ‘Buck Bentley,’ adding, “I can’t believe they let me out of the door with ‘Dierks,’ what a weird name!”

NO, REBA’S NOT LEAVING “THE VOICE”

The internet is an amazing place where literally the wealth of human knowledge is just a few clicks away – but with that, people run the risk of coming across information that may not be 100-percent factual. Reba McEntire had to address just such a situation over the weekend.

In an Instagram post, the singer and “The Voice” coach dealt with just such a situation head-on. She posted a screenshot of an article claiming she was leaving the hit singing competition. Reba reposted the article (which you can see below), with a big red “FALSE” stamped across it.

“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving The Voice. This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product. Please report these posts if you see them on Facebook or Instagram.”

Reba’s not the only country star having to deal with this situation. In the past, Lainey WilsonDolly Parton and Trisha Yearwood are a few others who have had to tell fans that scammers using their names and likeness are hawking weight-loss gummies without their consent.
