OSKALOOSA – Oskaloosa residents will have to continue to wait on repairs to the traffic signal at the intersection of A Avenue West and North L Street.
The signal has been lost since an accident occurred at the intersection on July 3. The city of Oskaloosa shared that city staff have been working with a contractor and supplier to secure a replacement, but they have been informed that the required parts are currently expected to have a 60-day lead time. Staff will begin repairing the traffic signal as soon as those parts are received.
Until the signal is repaired, officials advise residents to continue to treat the intersection as a four-way stop, and to use extra caution when traveling through the area.
