TWO ACCUSED IN BANK ROBBERY PLEAD NOT GUILTY

Two accused in bank robbery plead not guilty

Two men accused of robbing a Packwood bank at gunpoint in June 2018 have pleaded not guilty.  Ross Thornton of Hedrick and Jordan Crawford of Mount Pleasant have pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting first degree robbery.  Thornton and Crawford are accused of helping Jordan Spray rob the Pilot Grove Savings Bank in June 2018.  Spray has indicated he will plead guilty to that robbery.  Thornton and Crawford have both asked for speedy trials; no trial date has been set.
