PELLA – The nomination process for the city of Pella’s 2027 Tulip Time Royal Court is officially underway today.

The Tulip Time Steering Committee is now accepting nomination ballots for the 2027 Tulip Queen and Royal Court through 4:30pm on Tuesday, September 29. After nominations are submitted, a town-wide vote will be held to select the top twelve finalists. Those finalists will then prepare for a night of interviewing and presentations before 30-36 judges, after which the Tulip Queen and Royal Court will be selected.

All nominees must: 

• Be a high school senior girl
• Be 17 years old by May 17, 2027
• Be unmarried
• Have a permanent home mailing address in the Pella Community School District
• Live with a parent or legal guardian
