On this day in 1991, Wynonna made her national debut as a solo act on the American Music Awards singing, “She Is His Only Need.”

Since that day, Wynonna has had 20 singles as a solo artist, with her first three —”She Is His Only Need”, “I Saw the Light,” and “No One Else on Earth”—all reaching number one.

Three of her albums are certified platinum or higher by the RIAA

On this day in 1992, Wynonna Judd made her national debut as a solo act on the American Music Awards singing, “She Is His Only Need.” The song would be her first single off of her self-titled album, Wynonna. “She Is His Only Need” was her first Number One hit.
