Rimes released four promotional singles from this album: “O Holy Night”, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, and “A Different Kind of Christmas”.

Rimes would lose the “Horizon Award” to Bryan White, and her song “Blue” was beat out by George Strait’s “Check Yes Or No” in the “Single of the Year” category.
