March 30th: On This Day

On this day in 2014, Florida Georgia Line’s duet with Luke Bryan “This Is How We Roll” began a three-week stay on top of the Billboard’s Country charts. The single was released as the fifth single from Florida Georgia Line’s debut studio album, Here’s to the Good Times, although it is only included on the 2013 This Is How We Roll re-release.

The song has been Certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.

FGL Presents Veteran With An All-Terrain Wheelchair

During a recent “Dig Your Roots” tour stop, Florida Georgia Line teamed up with the Independence Fund to give retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage an all-terrain wheelchair. The duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard were personally on hand to present the wheelchair to Savage, who lost his leg in 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. FGL posted a picture of them with the veteran, saying, “Truly blessed to be able to present a chair to retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage.”

·       This marks the second time that FGL has presented an all-terrain wheelchair to a wounded veteran. Earlier this year, the duo presented a wheelchair to retired Army Sergeant Seth Kotouc at a show in Oklahoma City.
