On this day in 1999, Kenny Chesney was on top of the Billboard chart with “You Had Me from Hello”. The song was the second single from Chesney’s album Everywhere We Go. The track has been certified Gold by the RIAA.

On this day in 2000, Kenny Chesney’s album Everywhere We Go was Certified Double Platinum. The album was Chesney’s first in his career to receive Double Platinum status and produced four singles, including two #1 hits “How Forever Feels” and “You Had Me From Hello”.
