A Sigourney man has been convicted of trying to kidnap a child.  A Wapello County jury found 28-year-old Matthew Reynolds guilty of attempted enticement of a minor.  Prosecutors say in October 2018, Reynolds approached a 9-year-old girl in Eldon and told her to get into his car.  She ran away and was not harmed.  Reynolds will be sentenced May 27.
