Ottumwa, Iowa –   Motorists are advised that Norris Asphalt Paving crews will be working on the railroad crossing on West Second Street starting at 7 A.M. this Thursday, May 11.  During this work, Second Street will be closed to traffic at the railroad crossing.  With favorable conditions, the work is anticipated to last two days.

Motorists will need to seek alternate routes via Harrows Branch and Summit Street or Caldwell Street and Rutledge Road.   All truck traffic is encouraged to take Forrest Avenue to the Bypass, then to Business 63, then to McLean Street and vise versa.
