With Halloweekend beginning tomorrow, streets near you will soon be filled with trick-or-treaters and others celebrating the festivities. For some tips and basic safety reminders, we sat down with Oskaloosa SRO Logan Nord.

Nord said that it’s important for trick-or-treaters to find safe spots like crosswalks at intersections to get from one side of the street to the other, and to wear high-visibility costumes so cars can see them more easily. He also shared this tip on what kind of goodies people should be wary of.
