A man from Pella is facing several charges after an incident Monday afternoon (5/18) in Pella.  Just after 4pm Monday, Pella Police responded to a report of an armed man displaying a weapon in the parking lot of Sports Page Bar and Grill on West 16^th Street.  Witnesses told Police the man appeared to have a handgun and a long gun and was threatening nearby construction workers.  A short time later, 37-year-old Daniel Burtschi of Pella was arrested.  He has been charged with public intoxication, assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent, first degree harassment and possessing weapons while intoxicated.
